Treat Bugs Like A Pro

Do not use any pesticide bombs, foggers, sprays, dusts prior to heat treatment.

Do not remove anything from treatment area except for sealed garbage to be permanently removed.* Furniture and clutter must be pulled away from walls 4 to 6 inches.

Excessive piles of linens or clothing should be sealed in bags, left in treatment area, and then washed afterwards. Unplug all electronics except major appliances (Example: Refrigerator).

Any items (clothing, shoes, valuables) taken out on the day of heat treatment must be thoroughly inspected and sanitized before being reintroduced into the treated area.

Permanently dispose of all trash and unwanted items before treatment.

Vacuum or sweep up dust/pet hair as it impedes treatment and is hazardous to the equipment.

Improperly secured pictures and posters that may blow down should be taken down and laid flat.

Vinyl or faux wood blinds have a low heat tolerance; they can be taken down and laid flat to avoid warping.

High power fans are used during this process; loose papers should be secured or weighted down.

Candles, wax, crayons, lipstick and other meltable cosmetics CJ Medicines and vitamins

Software, records, CD's, tapes (audio and video)

Vinyl and faux wood mini and vertical blinds

Photographs in open areas*

Remote controls (TV, VCR)*

Computers (towers), unplugged and disconnected*

Soft vinyl items*

Aerosol cans, fire extinguishers, and other combustible items*

Musical instruments (may detune due to expansion and contraction)* CJ Cigarette lighters*

Pets, fish, fresh fruits and vegetables, chocolates, carbonated beverages, wines, liquors, and artificial sweeteners. In lieu of removal, small items may be placed in a refrigerator.

Oil paintings, acrylics (art work), paintings, and pictures*

Antique furniture with finish or fragile glue points*

Other (In evaluating the treatment area, you may discover additional items that should be removed, such as irreplaceable or sentimental items that are of concern.)
